Dress Code

We invite you to dress to impress for our big day! Funky formal is the brief - think bright colours, textures and patterns, dressy separates, and floor length dresses or skirts. Some fun touches (feathers, bolo ties, etc.) are encouraged. First and foremost we want you to feel your best, so we only ask that you don't wear jeans or white dresses.

FAQs

• Can I bring a plus one?

  Invited guests will be indicated on your RSVP by name. Only explicitly invited plus ones are permitted to attend.

• Are children allowed?

  This is a 19+ event. We hope this night can serve as a great date night!

• When do I need to RSVP by?

  Please RSVP as soon as possible (Casey's stress levels will thank you), but no later than June 30th. If you have not RSVPd by the deadline, we will unfortunately be marking you as "not attending" as we need to give firm numbers to our lovely vendors in advance.

• Do you have a wedding registry?

  Your presence is enough! However, if you wish to contribute a gift, monetary contributions would be graciously accepted.

• What time should I arrive?

  Please arrive between 3:30 and 3:50 to settle into your seat as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm. Guests who arrive after 3:50 are kindly asked to wait outside until after the ceremony.

• Is there parking at the venue?

  There is street parking surrounding Parlour on Wellington St W and many side roads. However, we strongly encourage using a ride sharing service if you intend on having alcohol throughout the evening!

• Can I take photos during the ceremony?

  Please do not take phones or cameras out during the ceremony. It is a small space, and any devices will be visible in the official photos. We've hired the most talented photographers in Ottawa to capture the special day, so please let them work their magic. You are encouraged to take pictures throughout the night after the ceremony however, and please share them with us!
